Christchuch earthquake

On Saturday at 4:30 in the morning an earthquake happened at Christchurch. It was 7.1 on the Richter scale. Some people's houses were crushed so they could not live in them. Shops were ruined with everything falling off shelves. Buses could not drive around town. The rail way track bent sideways. Roads were cracked. There was a metre deep hole in the ground. One person died of a heart attack. There were two major injuries. One person got cut by glass and the other one got hit by bricks. Kids helped to clear the dirt so did the army people.
